Ingredients

  • Live blue crab - 500 grams
  • Water - 2 liters
  • Old Bay seasoning - 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon - 1, halved
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, smashed
  • Corn on the cob - 1, cut into halves
  • Red potatoes - 300 grams, halved
  • Andouille sausage - 200 grams, sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning, halved lemon, and smashed garlic to the boiling water.
  3. Once boiling, add the red potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes, add the corn and andouille sausage; cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Carefully add the live blue crab to the pot, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until the crab is bright orange and cooked through.
  6. Drain the pot, and transfer the crab, corn, potatoes, and sausage to a serving platter.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with additional lemon wedges.
