Ingredients

  • cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • egg - 1 large
  • unsweetened almond milk - 120 ml
  • green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • coconut oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, almond flour, baking powder, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and almond milk until well blended.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped green onion.
  5. Heat coconut oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat until hot.
