- Russet potatoes - 2 medium (about 400g)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Salt - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon (2g)
- Parmesan cheese - 2 tablespoons, grated (15g) (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into wedges. You can cut each potato in half lengthwise and then into 4-6 wedges depending on the size.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
- Spread the seasoned wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the wedges during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
