Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 1 cup
  • Cream cheese - 2 oz
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Clams (canned, drained) - 1 cup
  • Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Onion powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Thyme (dried) - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 1/4 cup
  • Green onions (sliced) - 2 tbsp

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring in between until melted and combined.
  3. Add almond flour, egg, baking powder, and salt to the cheese mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape it into a pizza crust about 1/2 inch thick.
  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While the crust is baking, prepare the clam chowder topping. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, minced garlic, onion powder, thyme, black pepper, and clams. Stir and heat until warmed through.
  7. Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven. Pour the clam mixture evenly over the crust.
  8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and green onions on top of the clam mixture.
  9. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve.
