  • Fresh clams - 500 grams
  • Small red potatoes - 300 grams, quartered
  • Fresh corn on the cob - 1 ear, cut into 2 pieces
  • Smoked sausage (gluten-free) - 200 grams, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, cut into wedges
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Old Bay seasoning - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Begin by soaking the clams in cold water for 20 minutes to remove any sand or grit.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil, then add the quartered potatoes. Cook for about 10 minutes until they are slightly tender.
  3. Add the corn pieces and smoked sausage to the pot, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  5. Drain the clams and add them to the pot. Cover and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.
  6. Once the clams are cooked, remove the pot from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
