Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 400 grams
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice - 60 ml
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped - 15 grams
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil - 30 ml
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced - 6 grams
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin - 2 grams
  • 1 teaspoon paprika - 2 grams
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine lime juice, chopped cilantro, olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with additional cilantro and lime wedges if desired.
