- salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- gluten-free all-purpose flour - 125 g
- large eggs - 2
- cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- granulated sugar (for coating) - 1/4 cup
- vegetable oil (for frying) - 500 ml
- dark chocolate (for dipping) - 50 g
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in the gluten-free flour until a dough forms.
- Allow the dough to cool for about 5 minutes, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle.
- In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
- Pipe 10 cm long strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting them with scissors. Fry in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the churros and drain on paper towels.

- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler for dipping, and serve alongside the churros.
