- Cold water - 2-3 tablespoons
- Dark chocolate (70% cocoa) - 100g
- Hazelnut spread - 50g
- Heavy cream - 100ml
- Egg - 1 (large)
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped hazelnuts (for topping) - 20g
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the cold diced butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together. Form into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit a small tart pan (about 20 cm). Press the dough into the pan, trimming any excess. Prick the bottom with a fork.
