  • Unsweetened shredded coconut - 30 grams
  • Cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Pinch of sea salt

Steps

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the coconut milk, maple syrup, and a pinch of sea salt over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  3. Pour the warm coconut milk mixture over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to melt the chocolate.
  4. Stir the mixture until smooth, then add the vanilla extract and half of the shredded coconut, mixing well to combine.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for about 15-20 minutes, or until it is firm enough to handle.
