Ingredients

  • ripe avocado - 1 medium (about 150g)
  • unsweetened cocoa powder - 30g
  • maple syrup - 45ml
  • vanilla extract - 5ml
  • plant-based milk (almond or coconut) - 30ml
  • salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, plant-based milk, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
  3. Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  4. Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup.
