- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Ground turkey - 250 grams
- Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Chopped fresh parsley - 1/4 cup
- Chipotle in adobo sauce - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- BBQ sauce - 1/2 cup (kosher)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, minced chipotle, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 5 cm in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the BBQ sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the warm BBQ sauce and serve hot.
