Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Ground turkey - 250 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 1/4 cup
  • Chipotle in adobo sauce - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • BBQ sauce - 1/2 cup (kosher)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, minced chipotle, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 5 cm in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, heat the BBQ sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the warm BBQ sauce and serve hot.
