Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 250 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, sliced
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden and crispy on all sides, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. In a separate small bowl, mix together minced garlic, red chili flakes, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Once the tofu is crispy, lower the heat and pour the garlic chili sauce over the tofu. Stir gently to coat the tofu evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
