  • Diced tomatoes (canned) - 400 grams
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced green bell pepper to the pot, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until they soften.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
