- Water - 250 milliliters
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Bay leaf - 1
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the diced carrots and celery, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
