Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell peppers (red or green) - 1 cup (diced)
  • Red onion - 1/2 cup (diced)
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables by dicing the bell peppers and red onion.
  5. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated chicken, bell peppers, and red onion onto the soaked skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
