- Wild rice - 50 grams
- Chicken broth - 500 ml
- Celery - 1 stalk, diced
- Carrot - 1 medium, diced
- Onion - 1 small, diced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a medium pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion, celery, and carrot. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add minced garlic to the pot and cook for another minute until fragrant.
