- Pie crust (store-bought or homemade) - 1 (9-inch) crust
- Butter - 1 tablespoon, cut into small pieces
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pitted cherries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the cherries are well coated.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish, trimming the edges as necessary.
