Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 300 grams (about 1 small head)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 150 grams
- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then chop it into smaller pieces and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice or fine crumbs.
- Transfer the processed cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for about 5-6 minutes, until tender. Allow to cool slightly.
- Once cooled, place the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dried cauliflower, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into breadsticks. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
