Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams (about 1 small head)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 150 grams
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then chop it into smaller pieces and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice or fine crumbs.
  3. Transfer the processed cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for about 5-6 minutes, until tender. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. Once cooled, place the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the dried cauliflower, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  6. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into breadsticks. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
