Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets - 300 grams
  • Sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 150 grams
  • Cream cheese - 50 grams
  • Heavy cream - 120 ml
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Butter - 25 grams
  • Chives, chopped - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Steam the cauliflower florets for about 5-7 minutes until tender but not mushy, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the steamed cauliflower to the cream mixture and fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese, mixing gently until well combined.
  5. Transfer the cauliflower mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and dot with butter.
