- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) - 50 grams
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Green onion (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then cut it into florets.
- In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice or small grains.
- Transfer the riced cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, egg, shredded cheese, almond flour, green onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the patties with olive oil and gently press them down to flatten slightly.
