Ingredients

  • caribou ground meat - 400 grams
  • garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • red onion - 1/2 medium, thinly sliced
  • mixed greens - 100 grams
  • mustard - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the caribou ground meat, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the toppings: slice the avocado, tomato, and red onion.
  5. Once the burgers are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
  6. To assemble, place a handful of mixed greens on each plate, add the burger patty on top, and then layer with avocado, tomato, red onion, and a dollop of mustard.
