Ingredients

  • Cream cheese - 200 grams
  • Granulated sugar - 50 grams
  • Brown sugar - 30 grams
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Sour cream - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Graham cracker crumbs - 50 grams
  • Unsalted butter - 40 grams, melted
  • Apples - 1 medium (about 150 grams), peeled and thinly sliced
  • Caramel sauce - 50 grams
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of a 6-inch (15 cm) springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add sour cream and the egg to the cream cheese mixture, then mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in the sliced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg, making sure they are evenly distributed within the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for about 10 minutes.
