Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 3 tablespoons
  • Cajun seasoning - 2 teaspoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss until all the tofu is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  5. Spread the seasoned tofu cubes on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
