- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 3 tablespoons
- Cajun seasoning - 2 teaspoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss until all the tofu is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Spread the seasoned tofu cubes on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
