Ingredients

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell pepper (cut into chunks) - 1 medium
  • Zucchini (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden) - 4

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. While the shrimp is marinating, prepare your vegetables by cutting the bell pepper into chunks and slicing the zucchini.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated shrimp, bell pepper chunks, and zucchini slices onto the skewers, alternating between shrimp and vegetables.
  6. Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on it and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Remove from the grill and serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
