Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cajun seasoning - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Red bell pepper, sliced - 1/2
  • Red onion, sliced - 1/2
  • Fresh spinach - 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional) - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and minced garlic until well coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sauté the seasoned shrimp for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to fit your pizza stone or baking tray.
  5. Place the rolled-out dough on the baking tray and spread a thin layer of olive oil over the surface.
  6. Evenly distribute the sautéed shrimp, sliced red bell pepper, sliced red onion, and fresh spinach over the pizza dough.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables and shrimp.
  8. If desired, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
