Ingredients

  • Green Cabbage - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy Sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Red Bell Pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green Onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black Pepper - to taste
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced red bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and continue to stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crunchy.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring well to combine all ingredients. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
