  • Cream cheese - 100 grams, softened
  • Sour cream - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and chopped cabbage to the skillet, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is softened.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, vegetable broth, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles and cabbage mixture, then pour the cream cheese mixture over it, stirring gently to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
