Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 250 grams
  • Buffalo sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Whole wheat burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Avocado - 1 small, sliced
  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons (for dressing)
  • Chives - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 2 equal patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 75°C.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the whole wheat buns by toasting them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Once the patties are done, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and topping with lettuce, tomato slices, and avocado.
  6. Drizzle Greek yogurt on top and sprinkle with chopped chives before placing the other half of the bun on top.
