Ingredients

  • beef brisket - 400 grams
  • kosher salt - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • beef broth - 250 ml
  • mini slider buns - 4 pieces
  • barbecue sauce - 100 ml
  • coleslaw mix - 100 grams
  • mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • honey - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  4. In a large oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the brisket on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Pour the beef broth into the pot, then cover it tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  6. Transfer the pot to the preheated oven and cook for 3 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shredded.
  7. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the pot and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing or shredding.
  8. While the brisket is resting, prepare the coleslaw by combining the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and honey in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  9. To assemble the sliders, slice the mini buns in half and layer shredded brisket on the bottom half, drizzle with barbecue sauce, and top with coleslaw.
  10. Place the top half of the bun on each slider and serve immediately.
