Ingredients
- beef brisket - 400 grams
- kosher salt - 1 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- beef broth - 250 ml
- mini slider buns - 4 pieces
- barbecue sauce - 100 ml
- coleslaw mix - 100 grams
- mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- honey - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- In a large oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the brisket on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Pour the beef broth into the pot, then cover it tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Transfer the pot to the preheated oven and cook for 3 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shredded.
- Once cooked, remove the brisket from the pot and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing or shredding.
- While the brisket is resting, prepare the coleslaw by combining the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and honey in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- To assemble the sliders, slice the mini buns in half and layer shredded brisket on the bottom half, drizzle with barbecue sauce, and top with coleslaw.
- Place the top half of the bun on each slider and serve immediately.
