Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Eggs - 4 large
  • Turkey sausage, cooked and crumbled - 100 grams
  • Bell pepper, diced - 50 grams
  • Red onion, diced - 30 grams
  • Spinach, chopped - 30 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a 12-inch pizza pan.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to the pizza pan and brush it with olive oil.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced bell pepper and red onion in a little olive oil until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes until wilted.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the vegetables, stirring gently to scramble the eggs until just set.
  8. Spread the scrambled egg and vegetable mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  9. Sprinkle the crumbled turkey sausage over the egg mixture, followed by the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
