  • Ground beef - 300 grams (85% lean)
  • Blue cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4 medium, sliced
  • Pickles - 4 slices

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
