- beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- mushrooms - 150 grams, sliced
- beef broth - 200 ml
- sour cream - 100 grams
- soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
- salt - to taste
- black pepper - to taste
- cooked rice - 200 grams
- parsley - for garnish, chopped
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until softened.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over cooked rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
