Ingredients

  • beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • mushrooms - 150 grams, sliced
  • beef broth - 200 ml
  • sour cream - 100 grams
  • soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - to taste
  • cooked rice - 200 grams
  • parsley - for garnish, chopped

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until softened.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve the beef stroganoff over cooked rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
