- Beef sirloin - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Red onion - 1 small, cut into wedges
- Bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 medium, cut into squares
- Cherry tomatoes - 10, whole
- Yogurt - 150 grams
- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, chopped mint, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef, red onion wedges, bell pepper squares, and cherry tomatoes onto skewers, alternating the ingredients.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- While the kebabs are cooking, warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
