Ingredients

  • beef flank steak - 300 grams
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • soy sauce (Kosher) - 1 tablespoon
  • garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 cup, sliced
  • onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • tortillas (flour or corn, Kosher) - 4 pieces
  • fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • sour cream (optional) - for serving
  • salsa (optional) - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Slice the beef flank steak into thin strips and add to the marinade, mixing well. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the bell peppers and onion.
  4. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet, stirring occasionally, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  7. Serve the beef and vegetable mixture on the warm tortillas, garnished with fresh cilantro, and optional sour cream and salsa.
