Ingredients

  • Beef brisket - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Beef broth - 250 ml
  • Barbecue sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Slider buns - 4 pieces
  • Pickles - 4 slices
  • Coleslaw mix - 1 cup
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the brisket with salt, black pepper, and paprika, then sear it in the skillet until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the brisket from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Return the brisket to the skillet, add beef broth and barbecue sauce. Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 2 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
  4. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  5. In a bowl, mix coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar to make the coleslaw.
  6. To assemble the sliders, place a slice of brisket on each slider bun, top with pickles and a generous spoonful of coleslaw. Close the buns and serve warm.
