Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a large oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, chopped carrots, and celery, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Rub the beef brisket with salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, and brown sugar, ensuring an even coating.
- Place the brisket in the pot with the sautéed vegetables, and pour the beef broth over it.
- Cover the pot with a lid or aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
- Cook for 3 to 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
