Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Snow peas - 100 grams
  • Green onions - 2, sliced
  • Rice noodles - 100 grams
  • Cooked white rice - 1 cup
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. While the beef is marinating, prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a splash of sesame oil and stir-fry the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add a little more oil if necessary, then stir-fry the bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables, and if desired, sprinkle cornstarch over the mixture to thicken the sauce. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked rice noodles and white rice to the skillet, tossing everything together until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
