Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Broccoli florets - 100 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Rice noodles - 100 grams
- Cooked white rice - 1 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon (optional, for thickening)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a splash of sesame oil and stir-fry the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a little more oil if necessary, then stir-fry the bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables, and if desired, sprinkle cornstarch over the mixture to thicken the sauce. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice noodles and white rice to the skillet, tossing everything together until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
