- Halal beef sirloin - 250 grams, sliced thinly
- Broccoli florets - 100 grams
- Bell pepper (red or yellow) - 1 medium, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon, for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil. Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and add sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
