  • Onion, diced - 1 medium
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Carrot, sliced - 1 medium
  • Celery, chopped - 1 stalk
  • Potato, diced - 1 medium
  • Green beans, trimmed and cut - 100 grams
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Beef broth - 500 milliliters
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Thyme, dried - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the cubed halal beef to the pot and brown it on all sides, approximately 5-7 minutes.
