  • beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste
  • water - 100 ml
  • sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the water, and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil, mix well, and taste for seasoning, adjusting salt as needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
