- Onion - 1 medium, sliced

- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (halal) - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 50 milliliters
- Green onions - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 5 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Add water and sesame oil, stirring everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
