Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells - 12 pieces
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
  • Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Marinara sauce - 200 ml
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and mix in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese until well combined.
  7. Fill each cooked pasta shell with the beef and spinach mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
