- Jumbo pasta shells - 12 pieces
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Marinara sauce - 200 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and mix in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese until well combined.
- Fill each cooked pasta shell with the beef and spinach mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
