Ingredients

  • beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • button mushrooms - 150 grams, sliced
  • bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons (low sodium)
  • sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • green onions - 2, chopped
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sesame oil and sauté the minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms and bell pepper to the skillet, and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, along with the soy sauce, and mix everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
