Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Mushrooms (sliced) - 200 grams
  • Onion (diced) - 1 medium
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Cream cheese - 100 grams
  • Beef broth - 150 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms are softened.
  5. Add the beef broth and cream cheese to the skillet, stirring until the cream cheese has melted and the mixture is well combined.
  6. Transfer the beef and mushroom mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
