- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Onion - 1 small, diced
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Egg - 1 large
- Marinara sauce - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until onions are translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in oregano, salt, and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Mix well.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture, placing them in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
