  • Large pasta shells - 12 pieces
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Marinara sauce - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until onions are translucent.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Mix well.
  6. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture, placing them in a baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
