- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground bear meat, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the meat mixture into two equal-sized patties, ensuring they are slightly thicker in the center.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger toppings by slicing the avocado, tomato, and red onion.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble the Bear Burger, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with avocado slices, tomato slices, and red onion. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!
