Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • BBQ sauce - 100 ml
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
  • Corn kernels - 100 grams (fresh or canned)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the pizza base, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the BBQ sauce.
  6. In a bowl, combine the sliced bell pepper, red onion, zucchini, and corn. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.
  7. Distribute the vegetable mixture evenly over the cheese on the pizza.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve.
