- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato paste - 100 grams
- Gluten-free Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and smoked paprika to create a dry rub.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- In a saucepan, combine olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, tomato paste, gluten-free Worcestershire sauce, water, and cayenne pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
- Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes and basting with the BBQ sauce.
- After 1 hour, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and cook for an additional 30 minutes to steam and tenderize.
- Remove the foil and grill the ribs for another 10 minutes to get a nice char, basting with more BBQ sauce.
- Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra BBQ sauce.
