- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- BBQ sauce - 150 milliliters
- Beef broth - 250 milliliters
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Buns (Kosher) - 2 pieces
- Coleslaw (Kosher) - 100 grams
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the beef chuck roast, ensuring it's evenly coated.
- Transfer the beef to a slow cooker or a large pot. Add the sautéed onion and garlic on top.
- Pour the beef broth and BBQ sauce over the beef, ensuring it's well-covered.
- If using a slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. If using a pot, cover and simmer on low heat for about 3 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the beef from the pot, shred it using two forks, and return it to the sauce to coat thoroughly.
- Serve the pulled beef on Kosher buns, topped with coleslaw.
