Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Remove the stems from the Portobello mushrooms and gently clean the caps with a damp cloth.
- Place the mushrooms in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Once marinated, place the mushrooms on the grill, gill side down, and cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Flip the mushrooms and brush BBQ sauce on the gill side and grill for an additional 5-7 minutes until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
