  • Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • BBQ sauce - 4 tablespoons (gluten-free)

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Remove the stems from the Portobello mushrooms and gently clean the caps with a damp cloth.

  6. Flip the mushrooms and brush BBQ sauce on the gill side and grill for an additional 5-7 minutes until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the mushrooms from the grill, let them rest for a couple of minutes, and serve warm with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
